The Fichtelgerbirge Cup
2 Days of MTBO during the BF5Days

The Fichtelgebirge Cup is a 2-day/2-event MTBO open to all MTBO enthusiasts. The winner in each category, over the 2 days, will receive a prize at a separate prize giving after the event.

Planned Schedule:
Saturday 1.8.2026: Middle Distance, first Start 1430, Finish closes 1730
Sunday 2.8.2025: 2-hour Score event, first Start 1500, Finish closes 1730

Location:
Same event centre as the BF5DAYS 2026 Day 1-2, Fichtelberg/Neubau, Biathlon Stadium

Timing System: Sportident, SI Air is enabled

Registration:
Via O-Manager for all German riders
Via Orienteering Online for all international riders

Registration Deadline: 18.7.2026
After this date, late entries are possible at the Event Centre but only if there are sufficient vacancies and maps available.

Entry Fee, per day/course:
D/H-10 to D/H-14:     9 €
D/H-17/20:               11 €
from D/H21:             20 €
Open:                         12 €

Late Entry fee per day: 5 €
SI Rental per day: 3 € plus deposit of 50 €

Important Rules:
Only the trails marked on the map may be used.
Riding off trail or carrying of the bike off trail is prohibited and will result in us never being allowed to use the area for MTBO again.
The German Road Traffic Act (StVO) must be strictly observed – it applies to ALL.
Of course, consideration must be given to all pedestrians, horse riders and other bikers.

Ranking:
The Fichtelgebirge Cup will award prizes to all age group categories. Only riders who compete in and have a valid result for both days will be ranked.

Prize Giving:
On Sunday after the last finish, around 1730.

Important Notice:
Participation is at your own risk. Adequate insurance cover is the responsibility of each participant. The organisers, hosts, forest owners and forestry commission assume no liability.

Data Protection:
We would like to point out that this is a public event. We reserve the right to create, process and distribute images, audio recordings of participants and guests, as well as result lists for public relations purposes, unless we receive an individual objection. This is based on Art 6 Abs. 1 Lit. f DSGVO.
